H.M.S. Cornflower was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Cornflower was re-commissioned at Malta on 2 March, 1925.[6]
Cornflower paid off into Dockyard Control at Sheerness on 26 January, 1927.[7] She was commissioned at the end of the year, on 29 December, 1927 for service on the China Station.[8]
She re-commissioned on 22 April, 1929 for service on the China Station.[9]
She re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 16 October, 1931 for service on the China Station.[10]
