Vice-Admiral (retired) George Parsons (31 October, 1831 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Parsons was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 6 August, 1855.
Parsons was promoted to the rank of Commander on 3 June, 1865.
Parsons was promoted to the rank of Captain on 6 July, 1874.
Parsons was retired due to age on 31 August, 1886.
He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 2 August, 1890 and to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 8 May, 1896.
