Captain R.N.R. Charles Edward Rathkins, R.D., R.N.R. (6 March, 1883 – 20 February, 1964) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve. He was born Carl Edward Rahtkens and selected a more British-sounding variant perhaps in 1917.
Life & Career
Rathkins was appointed in command of the destroyer Arun on 25 July, 1917.[1]
