Rear-Admiral John Lee-Barber, C.B., D.S.O.* (16 April, 1905 – 14 November, 1995) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lee-Barber was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1927.
Lee-Barber was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 December, 1935.
In June, 1938, Lee-Barber served as best man at the wedding of his classmate at Osborne, Lt. Cdr. Duncan Robert Christopher Hodson.[1]
Lee-Barber was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1941.
Lee-Barber was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1947.
Lee-Barber was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 January, 1957.
