H.M.S. Mohawk was one of eight Archer Class torpedo cruisers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Mohawk was commissioned at Sheerness on 16 December, 1890 under Commander Edward H. Gamble for service on the Cape of Good Hope and West Coast of Africa Station.[6]
