H.M.S. Cormorant was one of five Osprey Class composite screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Gibraltar on 1 June, 1900.[4]
She served through much of the Dreadnought Era as the headquarters ship at Gibraltar.
