Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Arthur George Harrington, O.B.E., R.N. (25 November, 1863 – 20 August, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Harrington was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 20 October, 1891.
Harrington was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 50 on 27 April, 1905.[1]
Harrington was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 27 on 28 August, 1906.[2]
Harrington was appointed in command of the trawler Seaflower in March, 1910.
Harrington was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 3 November, 1910. He remained in command of Seaflower until being appointed to Actæon on 24 October, 1911.
Harrington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 August, 1913.
Retired on 7 August, 1919, Harrington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 23 August, 1921.
