Commander R.N.R. (retired) Charles Vere Price, R.D. (1 March, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Price was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 6 November, 1909.
Price was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 6 November, 1917.
Price was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 109 on 17 August, 1917.[1]
In 1918, Price was found to be "entirely responsible" for grounding T.B. 109.
Price was placed on the Retired List on account of non sea-service at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 29 May 1922.
