Acting Commander R.N.R. Richard Loftus Fortier, R.D. (26 December, 1882 – 7 March, 1921) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Fortier was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on

Fortier was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 10 July, 1918.

Fortier was granted the acting rank of Commander R.N.R. in December, 1918.

Fortier was retired as unfit on 7 August, 1920.

He died at Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia on 7 March, 1921.
