H.M.S. Porcupine was one of forty-two "A" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy — a "27 knotter".
Service
She left the Nore to exercise with five other destroyers and seven torpedo boats of the Nore Defence Flotilla on 18 June, 1912.[7]
In mid-1913, stationed in The Nore.[8]
