Commander (retired) Rowland Edward Stokes-Rees, R.N. (25 February, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Greenwich.
Stokes-Rees was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1900.
Stokes-Rees was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1908.
Stokes-Rees retired at his own request on 7 March, 1912.
Stokes-Rees was granted the acting rank of Commander in November, 1918.
Stokes-Rees reverted to the Retired List on 8 September 1919. On 11 November, 1919, he was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) in recognition of wartime service, dated 11 November, 1918.
