Commander (retired) Alan Gordon Grierson, (13 May, 1891 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Grierson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1911.[1]
He was awarded the Ogilvy Medal, perhaps in 1914.
Grierson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1919.[2]
He was appointed to the Portsmouth Anti-Gas School on 24 September 1928, but it is not clear whether he was designated to head up the school.
