Service

In late 1920, she was one of two "L" class vessels in submarine reserve group "M" at Portland, tender to Lucia.[6]

In March, 1925 she, L 17 and L 18 comprised Group "M" Submarines in Reserve at Portland under the command of Lieutenant-Commander Henry N. Lake.[7]

In mid-1927, she was one of two minelaying "L" class submarines in Group "M" Submarines in Reserve at Portland.[8]

In early 1929, she and L 17 comprised Group "M" submarines in Reserve at Portsmouth under the collective command of Lieutenant-Commander Alexander Scrope Hutchinson, who'd been appointed on 15 November, 1928.[9] This group remained intact until at least mid-1931.[10]
