Life & Career
The son of Rear-Admiral W. F. Ruxton, R.N..
Ruxton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1896.
Ruxton was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1908.
Ruxton was appointed in command of the monitor Sir Thomas Picton on 25 April, 1916.
Ruxton was granted the acting rank of Captain on 25 April, 1917.
Ruxton was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 21 May, 1922.
