Commander Leslie Drew Fisher, D.S.O., R.N., Retired (29 March, 1880 – 1 September, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 29 March, 1900.
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 29 March, 1908.
Fisher was retired at his own request on 4 April, 1910. Fisher spent much of the Great War commanding minesweepers or groups of minesweepers, primarily around the Firth of Forth.
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Acting Commander on 2 September, 1915.
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) in recognition of services rendered during the war on 11 November, 1918.
