Admiral William Sowden Sims (15 October, 1858 – 25 September, 1936) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Sims was born in Canada and joined the Navy on 24 June, 1876 in Pennsylvania.[1]
Sims was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral on 29 August, 1916.[2]
In 1897, Lieutenant Sims was appointed as the United States military attaché to Paris and St. Petersburg.
Sims retired on 15 October, 1922.[3]
