Revision as of 19:02, 1 August 2017

Fourteen "C" and "D" Class Destroyers were completed in 1932-33 for service in the Royal Navy. They were very similar to the preceding "A" and "B" class, but had an increased fuel capacity and a 3-in HA gun.

The "C" Class was reduced to a half-flotilla of four destroyers with their leader, Kempenfelt.

The "D" class was produced in the normal manner, eight destroyers under leader Duncan.
