Admiral Cunningham Robert de Clare Foot, C.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (13 June, 1864 – 17 May, 1940) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
At the examination for Naval Cadetships, Foot placed tenth out of the successful batch of forty-six.[1]
Foot was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1899.[2]
Foot was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1906.[3]
On 1 March, 1910, Foot was appointed in command of H.M.S. Bulwark, then to H.M.S. Magnificent on 18 March upon transfer of flag.[4]
Foot was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 30 January, 1918. He was placed on the Retired List on 31 January.[5]
Foot was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 8 October, 1923,[6] and was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 1 August, 1927.[7]
