H.M.S. Rocket was one of sixty-two "R" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1916-17.

Service

Rocket was assigned to the Fifteenth Destroyer Flotilla in October, 1916, as it was still building up to strength.

She completed to reduced complement on 17 October, 1919.

Rocket re-commissioned on 1 January, 1923 for service with the Anti-Submarine Flotilla at Portland.
