Admiral SIR Herbert Goodenough King-Hall, K.C.B., C.V.O., D.S.O., LL.D., Royal Navy (15 March, 1862 – 20 October, 1936) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1900.[1]
King-Hall was appointed Assistant Director of Naval Intelligence on 31 March, 1905.[2]
King-Hall was appointed Commander-in-Chief on the Cape of Good Hope Station on 28 December, 1912, and assumed command on 22 January, 1913.[3]
Great War
King-Hall was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 5 March, 1915, vice Jellicoe.[4]
On 1 January, 1916, he was appointed a Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).[5]
King-Hall was promoted to the rank of Admiral, vice Brock, on 25 August, 1918.[6]
