Lieutenant Commander Marcus Bainbridge Buford (10 July, 1844 – 6 December, 1914) was an officer of the United States Navy. He was called up from retirement to serve in the United States Navy during the Spanish-American War.
Life & Career
Buford was a relation of famed cavalryman General John Buford, whose stand at Gettysburg on July 1st was crucial to the Union victory.
