The Herreshoff Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of small ships, boilers and components.
History
The company was founded in Rhode Island by brothers Nathanael and John Herreshoff.
Shipbuilding
Primarily known for its fast, high quality yachts, they build several seagoing torpedo boats for the U.S. Navy.
