H.M.S. Jupiter was a battleship of the Majestic class, launched in 1895, and sold for scrap in 1920. She was the fourth warship to bear the name of the king of the Gods of Roman mythology.

In mid-July, 1914, the ship was ordered to take up station in the Humber as part of a force of four Majestic class battleships and two Cressy class cruisers being sent there to be demobilised on the 25th. Torpedoes
In 1904, in a competition to investigate how rapidly submerged tubes could be fired four times sequentially, starting with the tube loaded and the bar out, the ship's crew was able to do this in 5 minutes, 50 seconds.
