Arthur Milward Stancomb ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Stancomb was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1901.[1]

Stancomb was appointed Lieutenant & Commander of the destroyer Ardent on 14 July, 1906.[2]

He was appointed as Lieutenant & Commander of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 92 on 17 September, 1908.[3]

Stancomb was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1913.[4]

On 30 July, 1915, Stancomb was appointed to the light cruiser Birkenhead, at some point becoming her commander as Acting Captain for a temporary span commencing after May 1918 (likely 21 September) and ending in mid-December, 1918.[5]

On 1 March, 1919, he was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Blake.[6]
