Captain Harold Douglas Briggs (29 September, 1877 – 13 September, 1944) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Briggs was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1911.^[1]

On 30 June, 1917, He was promoted to the rank of Captain.

He was appointed command of the battleship St. Vincent on 18 July, 1919.^[2]

In 1920, he was appointed in command of Resolution as Flag Captain to the Rear-Admiral in the First Battle Squadron.
