H.M.S. K 13 was one of 18 submarines of the "K" class.

Service

She sank on 29 January, 1917 while running trials with a contractor crew. This ill omen prompted her to be redesignated as K 22 in March 1917, when she was raised; she entered service in May 1917.[6]
